New Year’s Greetings in 2010! We trust your celebration of the Savior’s birth was blessed by the awareness of his holy presence with you and in you. As we stand at the entrance of this New Year we’d like to thank the Lord for what he’s done during 2009 through this small ministry. Over the past 15 years, by God’s grace, we’ve been sending the good news of Jesus to those requesting it on 6 continents, as well as right here at home. (Still no requests from Antarctica!).
CDs
CDs of our recorded radio Bible messages and testimonies are mailed out monthly to anyone who requests them. In 2009 we sent out a total of 2,279 copies of 12 different CDs to 36 different countries. Requests can be made through our website’s FREE CD request form.
FOREIGN DISTRIBUTOR
Since 2005 Brother Innocent Ezekiel has been faithfully taking care of our monthly CD distribution in Nigeria. He receives about 60 CD requests per month and mails them from his office to individuals and pastors in Nigeria and other African nations. Brother Innocent is a great help and inspiration to us in the Gospel.
JAIL
"I was in prison and you came unto me" "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance". (Mat. 25:36; 9:13) In addition to media ministry, Roadmap’s resources have been increasingly involved in local jail ministry. For many years Roadmap to Heaven tracts have been helpful in bringing the Gospel to inmates. During 2009 Bob chaired GAPS-IM (Greater Augusta Pastors' Society Inmate Ministry), a coalition of local churches providing services and Bibles studies at Kennebec County Correctional Facility, as well as offering follow-up and mentoring to new Christians released from the jail. We thank God for the many faithful volunteers who bring Jesus to the inmates at KCCF. Many more hands are needed in this work, so if you're in Kennebec County and the Lord has burdened your heart for incarcerated men and women please contact us. No matter where you're located, the most valuable Christian work is always prayer. Please pray, believing that God will give these precious people a clear revelation of himself and of themselves, and that the needed scriptures will be presented to them at the right time. The text of most of our printed tracts and pamphlets is available online to anyone on earth with a computer and an internet connection. We’ve been revising our website since last spring and hope to use some of Mary’s photos this year. Many pages have not yet been reformatted but gradual progress is being made. Though the site was down for much of March, during 2009 it had over 11,000 unique visitors from 125 different countries. The top 5 countries most frequently visiting (per pages viewed) were USA, Germany, Russian Federation, European Union, and China. We are always thankful when those in countries where Christian materials are restricted can find us on the web. Visit our revised site when you have a chance.
MP3 audio files of all our radio gospel messages and testimonies are available at www.roadmaptoheaven.info. This website had an additional 8,260 unique visitors during 2009, and over 10,000 of these radio programs were accessed by visitors to be either listened to or downloaded. The most popular audio program last year was the testimony of Jake Sock (601). Jake is a Micmac Indian from New Brunswick, Canada now in his eighties. When I was first saved in 1980 Jake took me under his wing, read the Bible with me every night, got me a job working with him in the shoe factory and an apartment in his building, and remained my close friend. I’ll be grateful through eternity for Bro. Jake. The 2nd most accessed testimony last year was Wayne Denny (613), also from New Brunswick. Wayne has been my pastor for the past 13 years, and Secretary of Roadmap’s Board of Directors for nearly as long. You’ll be blessed by listening to these testimonies if you haven’t already.

You can listen to any available Roadmap To Heaven radio program any time you choose. Put your phone on speaker mode, and easily share with others the messages or testimonies that have blessed you. You can also leave your own recorded messages in response to the programs. Give it a try! (If your phone plan has free minutes, or have if you have an unlimited long-distance plan, you will have no charge for the call).
MP3 CDs
In the coming year we aim to produce two more mp3 CDs so all of our audio material can be mailed on just 3 disks. MP3-01 has been available since 2007. This disk contains over 14 hours of audio, including our radio programs that aired for 7 years across S.E. Asia. We can fit up to 20 hours of Gospel radio messages on each mp3 CD. Since most of our CD requests come from Africa and Asia (where mp3 CDs are more commonly used) having all our audio material on just 3 mp3 disks (rather than 30 regular CDs) should greatly reduce our postage and blank media costs. MP3 CDs can be played on many CD and DVD players, as well as computers.
We wish to thank all our friends who faithfully help us assemble the mailings. All our Gospel materials have always been sent freely to those requesting them. The Lord has provided the funds for blank tapes/CDs, postage, radio costs, etc because you, dear friends, have prayed and given so generously. We want to thank you for so faithfully helping us make the good news of Jesus Christ available to those who hunger for it but cannot pay for it. Above all, please pray for each person we are reaching, whether in distant nations or at the local jail, that God’s Word will reign in their lives for His glory!
